🌱 Genetic Background
Thai Lipa Yai:
Originally sourced from Thailand, Lipa Yai is known for its tall, elegant fruits, and fast colonization.
True Albino Mutation:
The albino version of Lipa Yai, often referred to as Albino Thai Lipa or ATL, is a rare expression where the strain produces ghost-white fruits due to a lack of pigmentation, while retaining the parent’s vigor and elevated, cerebral experience.
🧬 Iceberg is a stabilized albino mutation of the Thai Lipa Yai strain, bringing Southeast Asian clarity into a frozen, aethereal form. This albino lineage delivers tall, slender, snow-white mushrooms. Iceberg maintains the energetic, focused qualities of its Thai roots, wrapped in a frosty aesthetic.
🍄 Physical Traits
Cap:
Long and narrow in early growth, maturing into an elegant, convex cap that stays relatively small compared to the stem. Color is bright white to frosty cream, with a silky or glassy texture. Some caps may develop faint striations or translucent edges. Blue bruising is subtle but visible when the cap is handled or split.
Stipe (Stem):
Tall, thin, and graceful, true to its Thai heritage. The stem is a pure albino white, often reaching impressive heights with a smooth, fibrous texture. Though delicate in appearance, it's surprisingly dense. Blue bruising appears faintly along pressure points, especially near the base or where the veil separates.
